First Birthday Party!

Here are some pictures of your first birthday party. I will get the rest of the pictures up here when everyone has a chance to get here- we had a bad snowstorm and people couldnt get off work. With the money that you got, mom went shopping and got you a Big Dr. Seuss Beginner Book with lots of stories in it, a spring jacket that you will really need when we go strollering, and one of those alphabet mats for your bedroom. Their is still some left but we are waiting for some summer stuff to go on sale so we can make the money stretch farther...mom is eyeing a slide in the backroom and a swing for this summer. You are so spoiled but atleast you arent spoiled rotten your spoiled sweet.

You didnt take a nap hardly at all in the afternoon on the day of your party so we were all wondering how you were going to do come 3 O clock...but you were really in a good mood most of the time, then when things were over we gave you some dinner and put you down to bed and didnt hear a peep out of you until almost 10 the next morning! Then we went into town and got some pictures done with amanda, they came out really good. I will get the ones up here that I got a couple of weeks ago, I just have to find the time to get over to Dawns and use the scanner. I got your quilt done with a little help from Dawn-she machine quilted the back together and did the trim because I got really busy. But thats about it, I have to get going here and take a shower and get around for work before you get up from your nap.

First Valentines Day

On your first valentines day you gave out the valentines that 'you' made for everyone. We took more pictures but you werent really cooperating. Next year you can make them with just a little help from mom and dad.

The other pictures are of you playing with the legos that grandma dawn got you for your birthday because your dad used to love them, oh did i say used to LOL he still does! He made a castle and you helped tear it down. You will hate me I am sure for posting the nakie pic but I couldnt resist...I just had to show everyone your cute little cheeks.

Your first birthday is tomorrow! I am so excited! I have been cleaning and organizing things for about a month now. I have went through all of your clothes and sorted them into yard sale, keep, and stuff for next year. We are also getting rid of your bottles tomorrow night! You dont really care for them but you will take one if you are in a hurry. You can also have milk now but you dont really care for it...you look at me like I am trying to trick you or something. Well I have to go, Cassie is coming over tonight so we can make your cake and decorate the house so we wont be so busy tomorrow.

Our Little Dare Devil

Caleb was standing by the big wooden chest that we use in front of the couch the other day...dancing of course. Well he decided that he wanted to sit back down and about half way through the maneuver he decided that no, he would lay down on his belly....so as you can imagine things didnt go as planned... He landed on his arm and his arm hit his face and he bit his lip. I didnt think he was that hurt until I got over to where he was...I thought he was just scared and was making a big deal out of falling on his face like most babies do...When I got over to him their was blood all over his face and the floor and it was just pouring out! I snatched him up, jumped the gate, ran to the kitchen, remembered that the paper towels were back in the living room, ran back, jumped the gate, grabbed the towels, jumped the gate, ran to the kitchen, got one wet and gave it to caleb. He sucked on it and I gave him a yogurt melt. After all the ruckus (I think he thought it was funny because I was hauling him around the whole time) he forgot about it and when Cassie came over later that day I took his picture and put it in his scrapbook. The others are from his stunt work that he has been doing lately. He climbs the stairs when mom or dad is right their with him (he has to learn sometime, otherwise we have the gate up) He can go 6 up now and he is learning how to come down. He also has figured out how to get onto the couch on his own so he can look out the window at his leisure...we just put some pillows down on the floor and he spends most of his time going up and down, he likes the drop to the pillows the best. Grandma Dawn was here the other day and I swear she about had a heart attack when he dropped from the couch to the pillows! She still does everytime he does it but I keep telling her that he is tough and he wouldnt do it again and again if it hurt him, anyways he has to learn how to do it sometime anyways. I guess I'm not a worry wort mom...but he is getting very daring!
