Jack vs Heights

I had to put this up here! Our cabinet nook is about 8 feet above the floor....he jumped on the counter, then to the top of the fridge, and from there to the nook! He was crying when David came inside and told me to come and look at this...LOL. He finally jumped all the way down and tried to act like nothing happened. Oh about 2 days ago the dogs got loose so we were out looking for them in the woods and we called Dawn over to watch Caleb because it was like 9pm. She found Lucy running around in the road and went to get her and the cat ran out and no one knew it until we got back and finally sat down about an hour later. David and I were cuddled up on the couch soaking up the relaxation time when he said...wheres the cat? I was like OMG I knew right what happened...he dooped Dawn when she was distracted with trying to make sure Lucy didnt get run over! David went outside looking for him and when he found him, he was out back by the rock pile, flat on his belly scared out of his mind! He is always trying to get outside and when he finally did he wasnt so tuff. Anyways he was getting really mad at David for telling me about it and he kept running at him and pulling hit and runs on him. Then he finally calmed down and sat in the corner with his front paws crossed. I love having a cat with so much spunk! Well I guess this is turning into a Caleb and Jack blog lol.

The Dr. finally said that I could give Caleb rice cereal...I video taped it but he really wasnt impressed lol he made the funniest faces!

3 Generations

Here are the boys all in their John Deere hats. Thats Darby in the background since this is for the Percheron News Letter. Caleb was really good too, he tolerated several pictures. Grandpa Lloyd got stepped on by tubby back there so his foot isnt feeling really well. He wants to get a picture of David holding Caleb on one of his tractors because he has one of him holding David at about 6 months on it. I will have to get them both on here sometime for everyone to see. Happy first Memorial Day little guy! Your in your crib right now talking to your mobile and sucking your thumb.

3 Months and getting plump

Well little turkey, time flies when you are up all night!
Lets see...Well you can say HI really well now and you usually say it when someone comes into the room to play with you. I have been trying to get you to say MA, but thats not going so well-you just laugh at me. You went some new places this month too. Daddy brought you to mommys work at the greenhouse and you enjoyed looking at the flowers and meeting Betty. Yesterday Grandma Dawn and I went to Babies R Us for the first time since you have been 'out' and you loved it. You were really good and I got you a jogging stroller that is just awsome. We also went to another greenhouse but you werent as happy at first because we were driving you into the sun which you hate, but after that you were busy looking around at everything. Grandma Dawn got you your first baby einstein video and you will probably watch it today, mom previewed it last night and dad fell asleep hehe.
On a rather bad note, I took you to the doctor yesterday because the rash that you had on your face went away and then came back really bad. The doctor said that you have ecema really bad on your face, shoulders and head. I got you some cream to put on it so I hope that helps. You also weigh 13.5 pounds turkey! Your almost ready for Thanksgiving! Oh I put some sayings on your onsies like HAM and LIL TURKEY.
Your going to be famous too! Sunday your Dad, Grandpa Lloyd and you are going to get your pictures taken with the new horse at the farm and your Grandpa is going to put it in the Percheron News Letter! Its going to be so cute, I will have to post it on here for everyone to see.
Well I have to go you are waking up and mom has lots of stuff to do today.

Needy Kitty

Well Jackson thought that he was our one and only baby when we got him because he was with me all of the time. I was 8 months pregnant when we rescued him and on maternity leave so he got lots of snuggles. Now he doesnt get as many as he did before but he is still really spoiled. He will follow me around the house and when Caleb is crying he goes up to him and rubs him to try and sooth him, this is a picture of Jackson in Calebs bookcase wanting cuddles.

The second photo is of Calebs room at grandma Tonyas house. Its of the Lorax and the Lorax says Plant a truffula tree treat it with care, give it clean water and feed it fresh air. I might make a Truffula forest in this room, I'm still debating. When we were at grandma Tonyas yesterday we got him some new books about John Deere and big trucks. David seems to like them so maybe he will read them to him instead of the more baby ones that he has now :).

3 Months and Growing

You are 3 months old now buddy! We have also had our first Mothers Day together! The first pic is on Mothers Day (you will probably hate me later for putting that on the internet), the second pic is you after your bath about 2 weeks ago (you dont really care for your baths much), the third is you in your new swing talking to mom, and the fourth is the look that you give when you dont get your way (I had just sat you down and you wanted to be held).

We have been on some new adventures this month, some you liked some you didnt...You went with mom to fill out paperwork at work and you didnt like that very much. You also visited the greenhouse yesterday and met Betty, she thought you were adorable! We went to Menards and got stuff to build a fence in the backyard to keep the dogs out of trouble and you enjoyed looking at all of the things they had there. Grandma Dawn got you a new stroller for her house so now you can go back by the horses for a walk with her when its nice. I also got your murel done in your room, I hope you like it. Your room at Grandma Tonya's is almost done, I have to paint the Lorax on it and then we will be done. You have been a pistol this month! You have been spitting up and shooting it across the room. Oh I almost forgot the most important thing! You talk now! Everytime I talk to you I say HI, and now you say HI when you see people you know too. Grandma Tonya was so surprised when you said it to her! Well your Grandma Dawn is coming to get you cause mom has to get ready for work so I'll say tootles for now Turkey.
